I take great pride in our team of faculty Project Coordinators who diligently monitored project progress and ensured that student teams remained focused. Their efforts to ensure the professional organization of INNOVEX 2024 are commendable. Likewise, I am proud of the faculty guides who adapted projects to yield meaningful outcomes despite the absence of physical models and incomplete validation. Lastly, the indomitable spirit of our young students and their readiness to push boundaries and explore uncharted territories to realize their project ideas (as the saying goes, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade) is truly commendable. I extend my best wishes to all students and faculty as they showcase the most significant activities of their engineering studies to the world.

Innovex 2021 is here, inspite of the Covid 19 pandemic, inspite of lockdowns!! Yes, this pandemic has taken lives, disrupted economies, left many homeless, penniless and jobless; separated us from loved ones and that which we normally love doing. BUT - it has not been able to lock down Innovex 2021 at DBIT!! True. Innovex this year could not be held the way we would have liked it to be but it is here because of the indomitable spirit of DBITians and I would like to salute that spirit. My congratulations to the Innovex 2021 Project Committee Convener Prof. Cleta Pereira and her dedicated team for launching Innovex 2021. Over the years Innovex, the brainchild of our Principal Dr. Prasanna Nambiar has opened the floodgates of Innovation, Research, Skill Development and dogged Perseverance not only in our final year students but has heightened the aspirations of all the students of the First, Second and Third years too. Knowing that Innovex is a platform that can launch their careers with companies, fire their ambitions in startups and garner support from investors, students leave no stone unturned to give of their best. That is why over the years Innovex has always elicited passion in students and faculty to reach for the stars because the future is quite often shaped by what happens at this event. I commend all the final year students, their guides and mentors and wish that all our BE students sail into the future with flying colours. Congratulations!! Bon Voyage and God Bless.

Since 2017, Innovex has evolved with a brand new set of ideas and design solutions for industrial as well as societal problems. Now in 2021 we've come up with a website to showcase the Final Year Projects during Innovex! This year, the pandemic has engulfed the world but nothing stopped our students and faculty from executing their projects and displaying their hard work. It has been a pleasure working for this exhibition under the guidance of our Principal, Dr. Prasanna Nambiar. I would like to thank the department coordinators - Prof. Sunantha (IT), Prof. Ditty (COMP), Prof. Freda (EXTC) & Prof. Mahesh (MECH) for their continuous support, Prof. Tayyabali for his immense effort into putting up this website and of course all our student volunteers! Wishing all the Final Year students and their guides my very best. With great pleasure and pride, I welcome all our students, faculty and guests to immerse themselves into the broad range of ideas and innovations displayed here by the Final Year Students of DBIT!
